Here is the unforgettable, full-color catalog from the quilt exhibit America from the Heart, held at the Fall 2001 International Quilt Festival. These gorgeous quilts are truly works from the heart, created by people all over the world in response to the tragedies of September 11. Featuring images of the quilts along with statements from those who created them, these works of art are a moving declaration of America's strength and patriotism. All profits from sales of the book will be donated to the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund. Karey Bresenham is the founder of Quilts, Inc. and organizer of the International Quilt Festival.

May 23, 2002: As one of the quilters whose quilt is in this book, I received a copy from the publisher. Beautiful photography of 270 quilts shown at the Houston show in November 2001, six weeks after the September 11 attacks. The quilts were made in many styles and techniques and by everyone from someone making their first quilt to well-known quilters like Caryl Fallert. Each quilt is accompanied by the quilt maker's statement about it. I was very moved by both quilts and words. I think it's a wonderful tribute and remembrance.
