September 09, 2008: Overall the book is fabulous. Tons of great info and great recipes. I originally bought the book when my son started solids and now use it at least twice a week to feed my whole family. Some standout recipes are the Celebration Cupcakes and Cauliflower Gratin. However many of the pancake recipes, especially the Lemon Pancake and Out of the Garden Pancakes, and other various recipes are less than stellar. Either the texture was off or it was very bland. What's good is great, however what isn't good is terrible.

September 12, 2005: I am a mother of twins and this book has really helped me with introducing solids. The baby food is easy to make, and the books has lots of tips for feeding babies (where they sit, when they're ready to eat, how to freeze food). I've skipped ahead and made a few of the more advanced foods my kids can't eat yet. The granola bars and waffles are good.
