Past mistakes can never be forgiven . . .
Mike Taylor is the epitome of stability. His family is proud of his academic and athletic achievements at Georgia Tech, and despite the temptations of college life, he has maintained his moral standards. Yet beneath the peaceful surface, Mike is consumed with guilt, fearing condemnation and rejection. A former girlfriend's abortion and the intense love he feels for his roommate's wife constantly remind Mike of his failures. Unable to forget and full of shame, he refuses to forgive himself. When Danielle enters his life, he realizes he can no longer hide the past. Will she be able to reach him or is Mike past the point of redemption?
L. Diane Wolfe's Southern-based series, The Circle of Friends, focuses on the pursuit of dreams and the overcoming of obstacles. The stories intertwine as the characters learn that with belief and encouragement, they can achieve anything. Traveling the East Coast to promote her series, Wolfe sets herself on a heavy tour of extensive book signings and speaking engagements. The author averages over eighty appearances and interviews each year, maintains a website & blog for her series, and contributes articles for several other sites. She conducts seminars on publishing & goal setting and works with writer's groups. Meant to inspire as well as entertain, Wolfe's books have been described as "encouragement personified". The author loves people and does not believe in the word impossible. "When the dream's big enough, the facts don't count!"

May 17, 2007: Wolfe?s 'Circle of Friends' series captivated me with 'Lori,' the very first in the series of five novels. 'Sarah,' 'James' and now 'Mike' have grown and developed before my very eyes. It?s so refreshing to read uplifting stories of young people meeting challenges head-on, and overcoming roadblocks to fulfill intentions for their lives. This series is a must read for both the young, and the young at heart, like me. I look forward to the release of 'Heather' as the fifth in the series, but I do hope the author will consider expanding the series beyond the five novels. I would love to see 'Circle of Friends' made into a television series.

April 12, 2007: Mike is a wonderful story that can relate to many who at some point in their life, challenged their faith. The book was amazing. The plot keep me on the edge of my seat until the very last chapter. I really didnt know what was going to happen. Job well done, this is another great title by Diane Wolfe.
