Ruth Montgomery Writes Again! is a book written by a New England family, the Macombers, about the "automatic writing" communications they have been receiving from the spirit of the award-winning late journalist, and best-selling writer, Ruth Montgomery. This is the same method by which Mrs. Montgomery, the one-time "Diane Sawyer of Her Day" turned "First Lady of the Psychic World," channeled information from "Spirit Guides" on "The Other Side" in authoring many groundbreaking books on psychic phenomena.
Ruth Montgomery Writes Again! is based upon the automatic writing communications the Macombers have received from Ruth Montgomery since she died on June 10, 2001. Ruth explained to the Macombers that she joined her Spirit Guides - including her close friend, the famed medium, Arthur Ford - in Heaven and said that the human race was at a critical juncture. Ruth said that she and the Guides would be providing information to the Macombers - more than one of them - that was to be used to write a book series that would spell out how humanity can save itself from self-destruction. Ruth Montgomery Writes Again! kicks off that series and includes: 1. An outline for a 3-part action plan that provides solutions to the planet’s greatest troubles.From a coastal Maine family of six children, there are three Macombers who have authored this book - Jane, Paul, and Rob. Born to a father who was a carpenter and fisherman with a passion for jazz, sports, and literature and a mother possessing a profound belief in the power of love and education, the three siblings, all now in their forties, grew up poor in the material sense of the word. Their lessons learned in childhood, however, about love, family, togetherness, the value of education, and the importance of never giving up are a large part of why Ruth Montgomery and the Spirit Guides have said the Macombers were chosen to follow in her illustrious footsteps. June 11, 2009: How Interesting! A friend gave this book to me, and as I've become accustom to, I immediately went online to read reviews. I was dismayed by many of the negative reviews from various websites. However, I tend to have my own opinions and read it for myself. (I still can't believe some people don't enjoy Agatha Christie!) The Forward informs us the Macomber family is writing a series of books and this first one explains how and why Ruth Montgomery chose the Macomber family for this project.
In what I see as a display of their honesty and openness, these authors share events from their pasts that they think are the reasons they were chosen. It's obvious that they are themselves awed. It's all very fascinating (and made me think about things that've happened, and the possible reasons behind them.) Having read only one Ruth Montgomery book before, I am now interested in reading more! This book references so many other books that I have a new "reading list" created completely from here. I enjoyed and recommend the book! So excited for the next one to reveal more of the guides' plan and to learn more about Ruth's too!Reader Rating:

May 03, 2009: Great book. I enjoyed reading it. The history of Ruth Mongomery is facinating. The authors' story is powerfull. Their writing on how all our lives are connected is both convincing and genuine. It made me think about a lot of things in my life. I hope they do a follw up. I look forward to it!
