March 09, 2003: I thought Betrayal was a wonderful book. We have talked about legalistic churches but I did not realize just how abusive and judgemental they could be. I know my church will always be there for me to remind me that God and they will always love me no matter what. I loved the way the author handled the fate of Clay McCain. It lets me know that no matter how bad things seem God is always with me and always knows what is in my heart.
