IT'S FANTASY, RIGHT? I WAS HARDPRESSED TO SEE IT. VERY DISAPOINTED.by Ulysses30

August 13, 2009: This is the first time I read so much(ninth book)only to stop and wishing I had never wasted my time. The first book was my favorite. The story kept redundantly changing, not finishing a chapter when it could have so easily. This story could have been done in seven to eight books, making it exiting and unexpected. But instead, it moves slow and tedious. It became boring after the second book, but I was hoping until the ninth book that it would all come to an end or such. This story drags like a dog scratching his behind on a carpet.

It also soaks itself too much in political, religious, gender, race and other culture shocks-THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE FANTASY, not an earthly comparison, a sort of copying. Fantasy is supposed to be FANTASY, so writers want to write about politics and all that, write something other than Fantasy. I am not saying Robert totally ignored Fantasy(I gave this two stars), but that he, and some others, astray from the real world of Fantasy, the world of unthinkable make believe, and resort to basic, but real world affairs. Its not total Fantasy. Its boring and annoying. If I want to read about real human affairs, I'll read about EARTHS affairs, not this never ending story.
