      December 03, 2007: I truly enjoyed this book. My nephew and I read and read this book all the way home from school. Nystrom takes the biblical character and brings it to the 21st century. It really gets the reader into the character being portrayed and it propels you to find the verse in the bible to really delve in and want more!

      August 31, 2006: What a delightful book! After reading it, you'll never look at 'familiar' Bible stories the same way again. Maybe you have to be right-brained to fully appreciate Marty's creative use of words and some of the humor. But adults will have as much (or more!) fun reading these rhymes as kids will have listening to them. The illustrations add a lot, too. All ages can enjoy and learn something from this book!
