December 08, 2006: Well, I was interested in learning more about the theory behind harmonic analysis and thought this might be a good book. It's new it must be up to date. Up to date for sure, but good no. Being a Mathematics Major, I have been exposed to a lot of math texts in my time. Math is built on Theorems and Lemmas. Theorems are the life work of math researchers around the world. In this work arbitrary definitions that change from author to author were highlighted emphasized and pushed into the spotlight. Math is about Theorems don't buy a book that pushes definitions over theorems. Bottom line.
