November 22, 2009: When I began reading the first book in the series, "I was like What the heck?" Because in all honesty it was like nothing i'd ever read before and I wasn't sure whether that was a good or bad thing. However, i'm not one to stop reading a book so I read on and was grateful I did because the book is as enchanting and captivating as the magic it describes. What really held my attention was the character development. I could feel true emotion of Holly and how she began her slow descent towards bitterness only to be happy when with Jer. This series is great and leaves the reader with a little magic of their own (:
I Also Recommend: The Hunger Games (Hunger Games Series #1).
