    Synopsis

Prominent CNN host and commentator Lou Dobbs unleashes his manifesto on the vanishing American dream.

    Abridged CDs - 5 CDs, 6 hours

The New York Times - David Sirota

It is undeniable that aside from Dobbs and a few politicians, America’s political debate is almost entirely devoid of economic populists. War on the Middle Class confronts this problem head-on — and thanks to Dobbs’s passion and charisma, it succeeds in sounding an alarm that cannot be ignored.

December 21, 2008: I was assigned to read a government-based book for a high school class. I chose War on the Middle Class and I enjoyed it.
This is a very informative book and a neccessary wake up call for the middle class. It explains how illegal immigrants, the government, and Corporate America are all working against the Middle Class and how the Middle Class can fight back.
I strongly recommend this book for every Middle Class American who feels the crunch of the economy.

November 10, 2007: Wow. The average American has no clue what who Congress and the President are really working for, Big Business and the extremely wealthy. Thank you Lou for the wake up call. Lou highlights the disturbing trends of shipping jobs overseas to produce things to be consumed in America. No one is safe, it even points out that you can ship Accounting jobs to India where they will work for $500/month?? I personally know of a large corporation (MMC) with a local office doing just that. Wake Up America! Your job could be next! Don't worry though, the government has your back, Or do they?
