      Synopsis

Exodus is an international publishing phenomenon--the towering novel of the twentieth century's most dramatic geopolitical event.  Leon Uris magnificently portrays the birth of a new nation in the midst of enemies--the beginning of an earthshaking struggle for power.  Here is the tale that swept the world with its fury: the story of an American nurse, an Israeli freedom fighter caught up in a glorious, heartbreaking, triumphant era.  Here is Exodus --one of the great best-selling novels of all time.

A great, moving story that explains the conflict with Israel and the rest of the world.by Anonymous

February 03, 2007: A great book. This is one of those books that makes you cry, from Dov's story to the destruction of Arab towns. You will want to read it again and again, because it has such a fantastic plot. Ari ben Cannan is amazing, as well as Dov and Karen and perhaps even Kitty. I almost cried when I finished this book, simply because I did not want to finish it.

Great story about the origins of Israelby Anonymous

April 07, 2006: Excellent read, very good history. Uris is always an exciting story-teller. I liked the book better than the Paul Newman movie.
