We all want to be sensitive, cultured people, but let's face it, who has the time? Realizing that a smidgen of feigned knowledge goes a long way, the brain trust of CollegeHumor.com has constructed a foolproof guide for poseurs. With the aid of Faking It, you will be able to navigate your way through arcane discussions of postmodern artists whose work leaves you seasick and also learn how to impress cute interns at office parties. Armed with your freshly acquired cultural prowess, you will be able to awe office managers and finesse your way into a better job. (Of course, you might not have the real-world talents to keep it.) More fun than a college education.

September 12, 2007: I really loved this book! Now my colleagues seem to think that i'm the go to girl for random knowledge. I'm usually just totally making crap up, but hey, at least they think I know what the heck I'm talking about!

August 11, 2007: This is one of the lamest 'books' I've ever read. Besides the authors' self-aggrandizing attempts at satire, there is absolutely nothing even grin-worthy between the pieces of cardboard wasted on the cover. Even if you're already an arrogant prick, the dismal pandering of these privleged, childish ego cases (Shah especially) will make you ashamed to be educated, literate, and even human. If I've ever seen a better case for castration, I already forgot it. You're better off going to a frat party and starting an argument about gay marriage if you want to see cretins pontificating.
