July 06, 2009: Douglas Adams's writing style in The Hitchhiker's Guide seems random and all over the place with plenty of jokes and ironic situations thrown in, but once you read all the books you realize that even the most random, small detail from the first book is crucial towards the end and that makes it all the better. The characters interacted with each other in a wonderfully hilarious manner and lead to many great scenes in the book. Once I began reading I really had to tear myself away before I got too enveloped. It's a fantastic read.

I Also Recommend: Douglas Adams's Starship Titanic, The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul (Dirk Gently Series #2), Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.
