    Synopsis

Cady Briggs is very useful to Mack Easton - her expertise in art and antiques helps his shadowy, low-profile company, Lost and Found, find missing treasures for high-paying clients.

But as Cady's beloved Aunt Vesta warns her, being useful to a client is one thing - being used is another. Still, Cady finds it hard to resist the magnetic pull Mack exerts, an attraction she felt from the first time she heard his voice on the phone. And as their work together puts them in an explosive situation, Cady wonders just how much she'd risk for the thrill of being with this man.

When Aunt Vesta dies suddenly, and strange developments affect her family's prestigious gallery, Cady must turn to a man she isn't sure she can trust. And instead of tracking down missing masterpieces, they'll be hunting down a killer. . .

April 09, 2005: I usually like JAK books, but I barely managed to finish this book. I did not find myself drawn into the story at all. I would not recommend this book.

February 17, 2005: This book was pathetic. Dude, the mystrey was SO OBVIOUS! how could anyone NOT see that one coming! i was like, omg! this book totally wasted my time. Fine, im an active reader, i understand the mystrey part of the book was lacking, but dude, it wasnt like the romance was any better. Krentz didn't develop her characters enough. those of you who have not read this book yet, let me give you a better summary: girl and guy meet, guy helps girl find killer, in between all of this you mgiht find the two in bed occasionally, anyways in the end the killer is found and with no forewarning the two end up getting maried. i mean there was just no emotional involvment. Same goes for the thirller it was a snooze you have any idea how many pages i skipped cuz they were just rambling pointless info!!!!! dont waste your money on this one.
