August 11, 2008: ISBN 0448439530 ? Weebles! I forgot all about Weebles until I stumbled across this book and I'm so glad that I found them again. Playskool brings them to colorful life in this board book by Lisa Gribbin. Tooey lends a hand to other Weebles in need. Balloons stuck in a tree, a hose not working? Tooey and his fire truck can help! Each page has a shiny foil accent, whether it's the jungle gym that Oodily Oops is stuck on or the broken traffic light, which is a sparkly little touch of whimsy in an already whimsical book. Shaped like a fire truck, with sturdy board book pages, Tooey to the Rescue is a nice little book for young children. They see him helping others, which is good for the message-centered parents. More importantly, it's WEEBLES! A childhood standard, the legless, footless Weebles belong in your child's toybox and, of course, on their bookshelf. - AnnaLovesBooks
