New from the author of Tulle Little, Tulle Late
Small-time actress Lucy Ladelle needs some cash. So when a matchmaking service hires her as date bait, she jumps at the chance. She'll meet a few men, flatter their egos, and have them sign on as clients. It's sort of like an acting job...and it's only temporary, right?
But Lucy's first "date" goes down the tubes when she's caught on tape by a sting-operation TV expose, and her name-and fetching new sandals-are dragged through the mud. Then, she meets a larger-than-life woman who offers her a chance to audition for a Broadway show. Of course, the offer comes with a price. And before she knows it Lucy is juggling a surprising romance and the chance of a lifetime.

January 13, 2007: he Quest for the Holy Veil by Kimberly Llewellyn is hilarious! I laughed through the entire book. I love the main character, Lucy Ladelle. I can totally relate to her when it comes to the pursuit of finding 'the one' and following your dreams in the process. The other characters are so fun and original and adorable too?right down to the tiny Chihuahua with its little 'disability.' And OMG, Lance Booker (aka 'The Safari Guy') is to die for. He?s the perfect love interest. Funny, sexy, and a little rough around the edges?which is exactly what Lucy needs, but doesn't want. I laughed through the whole book and even learned enough about wedding veils to be prepared for my own wedding one day. I cheered for Lucy on this journey right down to the very last page. Even then, I didn?t want it to end. Five out of five stars without a doubt! ?B.P.
