    Biography

    ROXANNE HENKIN , a member of NCTE's Middle-Level Section, teaches in the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies and Curriculum and Instruction at The University of Texas at San Antonio. She taught elementary and high school for 18 years and still spends many days each year in area classrooms. Previously, she was a professor at National-Louis University in Chicago.
