    Synopsis

My Blanket is the softest, snuggliest, coziest book imaginable. The quilted cover features a fleecy star and inside the book, there are "blanket" panels for babies to lift up and crinkle with their tiny fingers. Best of all, the book opens into a baby-sized patchwork blanket with touch-and-feel hearts all around!

About the Author: Inspired by the rich diversity of ways in which people share their feelings, internationally acclaimed artist and author Sandra Magsamen has enchanted people with her signature style of complementing life-affirming phrases with her vibrant designs. Her collection includes everything from books and coffee mugs to ceramic birdhouses, teakettles, and scrapbook supplies. Sandra Magsamen lives artfully with her family in the Maryland town in which she grew up.

    Publishers Weekly

Books that unfold to double as a bumper pad in baby's crib or a patchwork blanket? That's the idea behind two titles from Sandra Magsamen: Baby Love and My Blanket. Each panel of Baby Love boasts a liftable flap in the shape of an animal's head, which reveals a clever answer to the question, "What did the mommy animal say to her baby?" ("I love you a ton," says the elephant mother). Each of the four squares of My Blanket sports a number sewn on the patch. Velcro snaps and a plastic pouch provide easy storage. Kiddo sleeps with it every nightby Mama_S

January 16, 2010: My 6 month old son loves this book/blanket. He plays with (chews on it) it all day, and when he's tired he puts it over his face and goes to sleep. I highly recommend this book.

September 13, 2009: My 3 month old son loves this book. It is very simple with two "pages" that fold out into a blanket. The blanket is about the size of a large cloth napkin but much thicker. However as simply as it is constructed, he is enthralled with it. He loves the various textures that the blanket sports and he will play with it over and over again. It was definitely worth the money!
