April 12, 2006: An excellent read for Warcraft fans. A bit confusing at first, but once it gets going, it is hard to put down. The plot was...different than other books of this genre and the unraveling of it was so exciting, it left me breathless. I had read the novel written by Richard A. Knaak called the Legacy of Blood, but it was nothing compared to this book. Day of the Dragon was an exceptionally good book, in my opinion.

April 07, 2006: The author of this book is Richard Knaak. The book that he wrote is called War Craft #1: Day of the Dragon. The genre of this book is science fiction or fantasy because this book has orc, humans, dark magic, light magic, and elf?s. This book has many main characters like Rhonin the mage, Falstad the Aerie Dwarf, Vereesa the Ranger, dragons, and many more. The one that I am going to talk about is the main character Rhonin. Rhonin is a human. He is a powerful mage of the Kirin Tor. His first order was to break the power of the ocrs at the end of the second war, after that he was to free the dragon queen know as Alexstrasza. She was in prison by the orc warlock Nekros Skullcrusher. Any dragon can break any prison wall but he used the Demon Soul to keep her prison. The High Elven Ranger Vereesa assigned Rhonin on this mission. Veressa is the warrior Dwarf Falstad. Also by the dragon mage Krasus, who thought about this mission. Before all of this happens there was an evil dragon Deathwing, he wanted to steal some of Alexstrasza?s eggs so he can create his own dragon army. The major conflict is that Rhonin have to save the dragon queen but first he have to get pass the ultra power of the orcs. The setting of this story is at the forest there are a lot of battles in the forest, humans and orcs. The plot starts in the lands of Dalaran, Rhonin is sent on a quest. His guider is Vereesa and early on their journey they meet Falstad. At the end of the story some people died in a war. The point of view is 3rd person because the narrator is not a person in this story he knows everything that is going on. If this book was a 1st person then this book would be a lot different because it would focus on one character and you wont know what other people are thinking or doing. The things that the author didn?t do well is to describe the orcs, I didn?t get a lot of information of them because he was always at the kingdom with Rhonin and the rest of the Heroes. This book is great. I will give these books two tombs up because I like fantasies books and this is one of the great is one that I have read. There are more books of War Craft so if you read this book and like it then you should read the rest of the War Craft books. There were some other parts that I didn?t like about this book like in the beginning, it was confusion but when you get in the middle then you will get it and never stop reading this book.
