    About the Author:
    Ariana R. Cherry has been a poet since about the tender age of 11. She began writing stories at age 9 and then switched to poetry as she got older. She was born June 28th, 1981 in the heart of Illinois and still resides there today with her husband and her daughter. She has published 2 collections of poetry and currently has many more in the works. Ariana is also the editor of an online poetry magazine, "Hometown Poetry Press" (www.hometownpoetrypress.com).

    Her dream is to inspire people everywhere with her poetry and to let them know that anybody's dream can come alive!...She hopes to tour the nation one day with poetry readings and would like to touch the heart of every single person she comes across.

    June 10, 2004: the reader can feel the elements of powerlessnes in the poem the mindless box and bits of wistfullness and hope in A Girl May Dream-- the author's syle is emerging, but the pieces are all there for a potentially great poet.
