      Synopsis

Missed, by a Hair is an adventure story with a touch of humor. Mabel Wickles witnesses two people removing a body in the middle of the night. While snooping, she and her friend, Flori, are kidnapped by the killer. Before Adam eliminates the two women, Mabel is forced to rob a bank. The women manage to escape and run into the forest. Mabel is sure her life is over as a bullet whizzes past her head. Suddenly a scream fills the air. Adam is impaled on a tree root. Meanwhile, back in the quiet village of Parson's Cove, Jake is wondering where his wife is, Sheriff Smee is searching for Mabel whose robbery was caught on bank video, and Captain Maxymowich is trying to find out who killed two women. Sheriff Smee and his deputies become unlikely heroes, as does Mabel, who has never learned to mind her own business.
