      Synopsis

Lady Luck has hired John Taylor to investigate the origins of the Nightside--the dark heart of London where it's always 3 A.M. But when he starts to uncover facts about his long-vanished mother, the Nightside--and all of existence-- could be snuffed out.

July 17, 2005: This book brings out a totally different world that you'd probably find alluring t'were it real. The entire book is an ongoing laugh and the serious parts are great. Everything is so incredibly thought out that it is in the running of the top three series that I find incredibly good to read. I like this series and Jim Butcher's 'Dresden Files' and Kim Harrison's witchy books. It's an great thing to read something like this and I can't wait for another book to the series.

March 13, 2005: How about the beginning, after all that is what this book is about. Where did Nightside come from, and just who is John Taylor and what was his mom? what is it that makes this books such a great read? maybe it's the image of ancient Gods relegated to begging for handouts from cardboard boxes. Immortal loves and magical devils (who own taverns), gunfire, auctions, and yeti foot umbrella stands. This book grabs hold of you fast and you won't put it down willingly until it's done. simply a great fun read!
