November 16, 2009: My daughter introduced me to this book when she sent it to her boyfriend for Valentine's Day accompanied by their personal photo shoot interpretation of the book. I love the writing of this book but I think it would be a best seller if the illustrations were updated. Children of today could be drawn in with colorful, updated pictures. But I still love it. I probably would only give it to an adult, not a child as is.

February 28, 2008: Although marketed as a children's book, I bought this book for my husband as part of his anniversary present. So much of it applies perfectly to our relationship! A wonderful book to be tresured for years.
