February 20, 2005: his book got me thinking about my own life and how much I work. Chris Ortiz makes it very clear that all it takes is just 1 bad leader and it can all come tumbling down. I especially enjoyed his chapter on Lennox Hearth Products and how he was in a constant fight with his boss trying to get just 2 days off to enjoy a honeymoon with his wife. It surprises me that companies still treat people like they do. It is nice to see a young man early in his career come out and talk about this country's problem with working too much. Great Book!

January 18, 2005: really enjoyed this book. Overtime is a problem for many people in America. I for one work over 55 hours a week and could never understand why Americans are such workaholics. Chris stands firm on his values on overtime and how our leadership has failed us. I hope he intends on writing another book, because his voice needs to be heard.
