November 10, 2004: I've heard Tamara Sonn speak, and she's very well-informed and clear. She presents Islam in a balanced way that Muslims recognize as their tradition, and also in a way that explains the current political problems suffered by Muslims and caused by Muslims. This book has those same virtues, and it's filled with interesting stories and details.
