April 08, 2004: Elmo Jackson is a young boy who soon discovers he is a superhero. Elmo's imagination is his main superhero strength, and it helps him fight crime in the city of Albatross. When Elmo becomes a superhero, his hair turns plastic to protect his imaginative brain. Elmo's friends are Hillary and Harriet Horne (they become 'Hornet') and Cabbot Robert (he becomes 'Carrot Bob'). The book also comes with a music CD full of fun, upbeat music. Listening to the CD reminds me of listening to the songs they play on Radio Disney. I can hardly wait until the next book in the series breaks. Overall ... I laughed, I cried ... it moved me deeply.
