February 06, 2006: It's not just a sweater when there's embellishment and--let's be frank--'flair' on the edges. 'Knitting on the Edge' is the quintessential guide to seeing, learning and executing many different forms of edging including fringes, cabled edges, decorative edges and more! In fact, I've knitted for 20 years and have never seen most of the edges displayed in this book. Nicky Epstein, as always, provides clear, concise instructions, and plenty of colored phototgraphs help move the swatch from the pictures of the book and onto your finished products. A great resource manual and a tremendously timely tome. I would highly recommend it!

September 19, 2005: This is a very useful book. I knitted an edging for a pair of slippers the very first day I bought this book home. I'm definately going to get the follow up 'Knitting over the edge'.
