Where the Bible and science converge.
For over a century, the Holy Bible's account of creation has come under considerable scrutiny and derision by the scientific community-casting doubts on Biblical accuracy. But is such derision warranted? Armed with the accepted principles of science, a keen understanding of Biblical literature, and no preconceptions, author Jim Schicatano decided to investigate the subject for himself. The result is a comprehensive and objective analysis of the first story of the Bible (Genesis 1:1 - 2:4). The Theory of Creation answers the enduring questions of science and validates the Biblical creation story. It will be a source of inspiration for Bible readers everywhere, and is the Bible-versus-science resolution that every believer needs to read.

January 31, 2003: The Theory of Creation by Jim Schicatano is merely that good ole time religion dressed up in the fine clothes of modern scientific jargon to try to go to school as science. There is no mechanism shown in this "theory" and it is hardly falsifiable. The large set of observations with as few arbitrary elements as possible is simply replaced with a finely wordsmithed version of "God done it". Unlike genuine scientific inquiry, the book starts with a premise and then tries to cram the square peg of religion into the round hole of reality, using all the latest rhetorical lube. The book is hardly a resolution, but merely another restatement of religious belief, spiffed up to try to appear respectable. This work will undoubtedly be greeted with glee from Creationists who are understandably desperate for any print that supports their case. Mr. Schicatano's book will have its initial burst and then be tossed on the scrap heap of other religious books trying to masquerade as science. SS
