The literary inventions here are thought to be someday possible, particularly as we come to understand how to engage a higher percentage of our human brain. What this man and this woman do are what you and I might do should we find ourselves in a similar situation. The story unfolds quickly, and the tentacles of plot that collectively offer romance, sex, adventure and suspense are sure to capture your interest.
The layout in Wyoming is pretty much as described in this book, although some liberties have been taken with respect to the little town of Kelly. It is indeed small, thirty residents in winter, rising to as many as one hundred in summer, but it is laid out differently than the book suggests. To the best of the author's recollection, all else, on both Earth and Mantz, is correctly portrayed.

August 30, 2000: This is the second novel I have read by this author. The first was Circle of Distrust, and I enjoyed it immensely. This one is more like their short stories (which are all science fiction), and to me, who enjoys a good story along with their sci-fi, it was even more enjoyable. It had everything, suspense, humor, sex, and some great futuristic concepts.
