February 15, 2005: The one story that comes across to me in this book is Codey's tale of being thrown in jail by his father and then being tortured by a cop while in jail. It makes me ashamed to say I'm a lifelong resident of New Jersey, although I'm really not surprised. Someone has to clean up the corruption that runs rampant in our state.

July 13, 2004: I really appreciated this book. The tragedy of 9/11 is just the starting (and ending) point of this book. In between is a wonderful, uplifting, and challenging story of one man's struggles to come to terms with that tragedy through the lens of religion, politics, and history. It's a personal journey that you'll be discussing for hours after you've read it. My wife and I are still talking about it. A must read!
