      August 03, 2006: I personally read the book before it was published, and I loved it! I really didn't like to read, but this book caught my attention and imagination. I recommend this book for all readers! It took a lot of hard work and dedication but my uncle acheived his goal in completing the book. I ask that you give the book a honest chance.       January 28, 2005: This is a well researched and well written book about the dark ages. It is an epic tale of the struggle faced by the early Spaniards during the Moorish occupation. There is a bit of everything in this book, from intrigue and betrayal to love and success. I would highly recommend this book.
