    July 12, 2009: I bought this book for my husband as a gift & he has already used it to do some basic home repair. It is very organized & simple to use. The instructions are very understandable & the photos are very helpful. It explains the different options you have to resolve household issues & helps you make the best choice that fits your needs. It covers a lot of various home repair issues. It was well worth the money & can be used throughout life. It would be a great gift for a male or female (if she likes doing handyman work).

    February 28, 2006: My husband got the book for his birthday last year and since has used it to install laminate flooring, wood flooring, replace outlet sockets, install a dishwasher, install a watersoftner and much more.
