    Synopsis

    About the Book
Private investigator Harry Bosch confronts the most terrifying killer he's ever known--the monster known to millions as the Poet.

FBI agent Rachel Walling finally gets the call she's dreaded for years. The Poet has returned. Years earlier she worked on the famous case tracking the serial killer who wove lines of poetry into his hideous crimes. Rachel has never forgotten the Poet--and apparently he has not forgotten her.

Former LAPD detective Harry Bosch gets a call, too, from an old friend whose husband recently died. The death appeared natural, but this man's ties to the hunt for the Poet make Harry dig deep. What he finds leads him into the most terrifying situation he has ever encountered.

Michael Connelly is the author of the bestselling series of Harry Bosch novels, including, A Darkness More than Night, City of Bones, and, most recently, Lost Light; and the bestselling novels Chasing the Dime, The Poet, Blood Work, and Void Moon. He lives in Florida.

    About the DVD

    Biography

A former Los Angeles Times crime reporter, Michael Connelly’s familiarity with the seamy side of L.A. adds a steamy kind of street cred to his hardboiled, gritty detective novels -- especially his bestselling series of mysteries featuring dark detective Hieronymous “Harry” Bosch.

A Welcomed Sequel to the "Poet."by DFN

October 26, 2009: I always thought the "Sparrow" was the sequel to the "Poet," probably the best book Michael Connelly has written to date but the "Narrows," brought a new demention and finality when it brings back one of the best 'flawed' charachters, (FBI Special Agent Rachel Walling), Connelly has thought up to date. Special Agent Walling is just the person you want to share a good Single Barrel Bourbon with anywhere on U.S. soil. The 'Narrows' does ask for a leap of faith in forensics discovery on the reader's part. A fun read, just the same. This time, Connelly brings in retired LAPD detective Harry Bosch and intersects him with Walling on the 'Poet's' case. Half way through, I just couldn't put it down. I almost wrecked my own marriage to finish this book. I L-O-V-E-T-H-I-S-G-U-Y. Connelly devotees will also love this book for closure on the "Poet."

I Also Recommend: L. A. Requiem (Elvis Cole Series #8).
