Synopsis
Soon-to-be eighteen-year-old Paula Winfield is an only child in the small town of Patagonia, Arizona. Her relationship with her mother is strained and she feels as if she hardly knows her father anymore. June 06, 2004: This book was geared for teens, but when I read it, I understood more about the feelings of my own daughter and the challenges she face every day. The author was sensitive and yet witty as Paula, in first person and I feel many girls, as well as boys and parents will be able to relate to Paula and care what happens to her. Thanks for a great read!
