Phyllis Dolislager did an outstanding job describing a farm family in the 50’s and 60’s. It was a joy to read. She did an excellent job of illustrating the values and love enjoyed in growing up on a farm. Reading this book makes one realize how farming has changed in the last 50 years. She paid a wonderful tribute to her dad with this book. He had high respect for his family, friends and neighbors and showed it by serving as supervisor of our local township.

Phyllis Porter Dolislager formerly served as adjunct writing instructor at Nova Southeastern University. She is a member of the National League of American Pen Women. With her family she spent two years doing missionary work in Liberia, W. Africa. Phyllis is an inspirational speaker and works out of her home as a writing consultant. She and her husband, Ron, Finance Director of World Mission Centre, live in Tennessee and Florida.
