(Hardcover)
Epstein (management, Rice University) utilizes in-depth analysis of academic and management research as well as reviews of company successes and failures to illuminate how e-commerce strategies can be most effectively executed. As well, the text provides a framework for a cost/benefit analysis of e-commerce investments and uses the experiences of 32 corporate entities to explore issues in corporate culture and strategy, goals and accountabilities, and the value of investments. The book is presented in two parts, the first dealing with strategy, and the second presenting case studies of a wide array of corporations. Annotation ©2004 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR
