November 25, 2001: A very good read that will keep one's attention until the end. Although much of it will strike a chord as common sense, it naturally wouldn't dawn upon most for at least a year or more. Since Been There... is made up of quotes from college students, it reads more like a conversation. All the ideas are down to earth & they sound much better coming from those there than from adults who have been away for some time.

April 04, 2001: I cannot say how much this book is so relevant to how college really is. And the quotes are rather amusing as well. It's not just a prep book, but also makes for good reading. The prep part of the book cannot be overstated how good it is. Every junior or senior in highschool should own this book for themself.
