      Synopsis

The book takes place in the year 2250. It is the story of Dr. Lindsey Larimer, an Egyptologist, who with her famous father discovers the legendary Library of Knowledge deep beneath the sands of Egypt. The ancient scrolls and tablets within promise to disclose the mysteries of the universe itself, but the writings also reveal the necessity of a “human-key” to fully unlock the secrets of the pyramids. When it is discovered that the “human-key” may mean an Egyptian Pharaoh, the government authorizes the cloning of the legendary King Tutankhamun and his princess wife, Ankhesenamun

December 19, 2004: This was a super good book! I had to do a book report for my English class and was told to choose whatever book I wanted to do the report on. I couldn't decide on one, so my friend's mother let me borrow her copy of The Reclamation Project. I figured I'd read it, do the report and be done with the project. I didn't expect to be drawn into the story line so completely. I could hardly put the book down and even got into trouble for reading it in my history class (twice). I know this book is supposed to be a total work of fiction, but I couldn't help but wonder if some of it was really true. I'd sure like to know where the author got all her ideas. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. It's not a book I would have ever picked up and chosen on my own and I have thanked my friend's mom a thousand times for suggesting it. I would highly recommend this book to anyone!

February 04, 2003: 'The Reclamation Project' is quite possibly one of the most fascinating and intriguing books I have ever read! Ms. Davis writes a spellbinding tale that expertly weaves fact, fiction and biblical prophecy into a masterful literary creation. The characters are exceptionally well employed and uniquely described, affording a realism not often seen in the science fiction novels of today...I highly recommend this absolute work of art to anyone who enjoys truly good science fiction!
