April 06, 2004: If you're a beginner stay away from this book. I started reading dreamweaver mx for dummies and then I switched to this book, and do you know What I discovered, even to me with a lot of experience using software design, I had to come back sometimes to the other book. Many steps missed, they assume you know this and that step on each chapter. it should have been called 'mastering dreamweaver MX', but anyway it's a very good reference book.

November 18, 2002: This makes a great reference book for anyone in the beginning to intermediate stages of DreamWeaver usage and web page creation. Any high user always want a more concise bit of material (this book is 1100 pages) that reflects new tips, tricks and features that they may not have thought of but this book keeps to the old school of building on top of standard skill sets while usiing one of the latest tools on the market. A great method for not only new users and developers but also for those who have been doing it a while to see some new methods that make old tasks easier. I highly recommend this book for all of those who want are beginning or have been working with MX and html for a while. Those advanced users that want the concise material showing off new features can get by with just the users book that comes with the MX product.
