January 11, 2005: The book is annoying to read.Especially SOAP chapter. They repeated 'SOAP' in almost every line of the chapter.Which is so annoying and irritating. We know we are reading about SOAP. and they know they r writing about SOAP...then where is the need to repeat 100 times....???And for the starters like me who are trying to grab things as fast as possible, its tough to read.I had substituted it for SOAP while reading.

January 14, 2003: I bought this book couple of weeks ago, after an hour long browsing at B&N, NY. I would call it as an ultimate book for developing Web services using Java. It covers Sun JWSDP 1.0, Apache Axis, Weblogic 7.0, IBM XML Security suite. It includes indepth chapter discussions on Web services Architecture, SOAP, UDDI and WSDL. More importantly it has a dedicated chapter on implementing security and testing interoperability with Microsoft .NET.
