      Synopsis

The perfect companion volume for Hale-Bopp watchers, this guide explores the fabulous mysteries above, from planets in our solar system to the constellations in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres, stars, galaxies (including the Milky Way), nebulae, astronomical bodies, objects, phenomena, and -- yes -- comets. June 19, 2000: The sheer amount of information in this book may be overwhelming at first, but after even browsing through a few pages, you will learn a lot and crave for more. There are handy thumb-tabs on the side to help guide your way through this beauty. The photos are breathtaking and the background info on each of the constellations is superb. This is a must-buy for all astronomers, whether proffessional or amateur!!!!
