      September 08, 2000: Professor Jeremy Rabkin of Cornell gives an iconoclastic yet forceful and persuasive argument defending the concept of national sovereignty in the post Cold War era. Rabkin decries the repeated violations of national sovereignty and the propensity for intervention into sovereign nation's affairs. 'Why Sovereignty Matters' is a brilliant political tract on par with Paine's 'Common Sense,' and is intoxicating as martinis and fashionable as the latest hatwear. A must read for anyone interested in world affairs.
