November 27, 2003: Chris has made a career of being brutally honest, and does not mix words as so many of his plastic/silicon peers.

November 12, 2003: As a Brit Hitchens is free of the kind of partisan loyalties that so often taint books on the American political landscape. Just one look at his bibliography of books and articles tells you all you need to know about what makes him tick (i.e., getting at the truth, no matter whose ox gets gored). He's gone after Bill & Hillary Clinton with the same vitriolic zeal that he did with Henry Kissinger. Anyone who wants to get past all the shameless spin doctoring of facts, which have become so common place in our country, both by politicians and an ineffectual corporate media that has become utterly coopted by the very people they were supposed to be watching on our behalf, then this is the author for you. His insights are not only meaningful but painfully believable.
