      Synopsis

Contending that investment in human capital establishes the foundation for corporate success, consultant Jensen describes an approach to management that centers around showing respect for employees. Written in a concise style with a good measure of humor, his suggestions include ways of promoting employee collaboration, tailoring work to the individual, and developing one's leadership abilities. A new preface by the author is included, which seems to indicate that there was a previous edition. Annotation ©2004 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR
