June 22, 2004: This book is so unique. Jane Latimer writes from her own personal experience as a recovered bulimic and also as a psychotherapist. Hard to believe this woman once foraged for stale bagels in a dumpster in the middle of the night, when her bulimia was raging. What a journey! This book goes deep beyond the food symptoms. How to release the fierce aliveness below the compulsive eating.

December 25, 2001: I have struggled with dieting for so long and was at the end of my rope, when a co-worker suggested I stop dieting. She had had success with this approach and gave me some suggestions. I needed more advice than she could give and began my search. I first began with Geneen Roth and found other positive resources for guidance. Then I found Beyong the Food Game and received even more advice from the author. I am just beginning my recovery, but now I see the light at the end of the tunnel! Beyond the Food Game provided insight into my disordered eating, educated me about core issues and gave me exercises that I use to apply everyday to begin my journey back to health. The author has said all the right things and knows her stuff. Do yourself a favor, order Beyond the Food Game and begin the journey back to yourself.
