      March 16, 2009: So, my daughter asked me to help her with her high school chemistry homework. In a panic I ran to the computer and googled chemistry homework. The webpage I found by Greg Curran was so helpful that I went out and bought the book. It was a great help. I was able to recall some of my high school and college chemistry and my daughter had a well organized, very well preesented reference book. I have found that some of our high school teachers prefer to copy handouts and have the students use handouts rather than a text. This was a great help and added so much to her grasp of concepts. My son is next in line for a chemistry class in two years. This is a book that we will hang onto.

      April 26, 2008: I needed something to help prepare for the nursing entrance exam I needed HS chem, physics and math. The author's way of explaining chemistry is easy to follow and he avoids all the fancy terminology which can definitely confuse people. I never like chemistry before but by reading this book, I have such an appreciation for it because it's all around us. The author makes the subject fun and interesting to learn. Great buy for a refresher in the subject. You wouldn't even need an expensive text. All you need is this book.
