January 27, 2010: The book On a Pale Horse by Piers Anthony is an exciting book. This fantasy book is filled with magic and adventure. The story is about a man named Zane. Everyone has their ups and downs in life. Although this story takes place in the future where magic is present, Zane struggles with life financially and socially. For help he goes to a charm shop in search of a solution. This is the start of his crazy adventure. As his adventure goes on, he learns in the end that love is more important than money. Love will last and money won't.
After reading this book, it began to make me wonder about life. Life is quite unexpected so you don't know if you just might pass away one day from an accident. I began to think of the things I wanted to do in my future and how I would feel if one day I die and never will I be able to do them so what I have learned from this book is to use every day of your life worthwhile because you won't know when you just might get into an accident.As an average young adult, I hate reading books. Reading is not my thing but somehow I got sucked into this book. I was able to read this in one week! I broke my previous record by three weeks! When I first started off reading this book, I was extremely confused. I didn't understand what was happening at first until I found out the story took place in a world of magic. The part that sucked me in was in the beginning when Zane (the main character) is about to kill himself when Death walks in. The growing suspense was awesome! The most interesting part was when I found out that everything in the story was sort of planned out. This meant that the future and past was planned out long before we were born.I can actually say that this book is my favorite book because I think this is the most enjoying book I have ever read. This book is sort of difficult to understand but once you get it, it's exciting.A Book To Make You Thinkby Wesker_Chick

October 10, 2009: This book is compeling and will grip you right from the first page...and won't let go till the very last. It makes you stop and think about the concept of Death and just who has the right to die. Plus, who can resist a mix of magic and technology with Satan there to gum up the works! I loved this book from begenning to end and just couldn't put it down. I recommend it to anyone with an interest in fantasy and, above all, the ideas behind death.
