April 24, 2007: This book covers the basics of the life of Andrew Carnegie. It written at a junior high level but has historical references that any adult will appreciate. The book depicts Andrew Carnegie as an unselfish immigrant who lived the American Dream. He then used his fortune to build libraries and other public buildings in America. His intent was to give back to society so that all people could have more opportunity for success than he had. This book is a great teaching tool for children. It teaches ambition and generosity.
