    Biography

    With a bachelor of science from Stanford and a doctorate from Oxford, Olivia Judson is an evolutionary biologist and award-winning science journalist who has been published in The Economist, Nature, Science, and The Guardian, among other publications. She is currently a research fellow at Imperial College in London.

    October 26, 2009: I bought this book for a college Animal Behavior course and it has been very helpful. Judson writes in a way that entertains while teaching. Judson uses humor to explain the differences in species and how they mate. I thought this book was much more interesting to read for a college course than a text book. I would definitely recommend this for anyone.
