I don't think these cards are good for younger childrenby LindaA_FL

August 10, 2009: I actually returned these cards after I opened them. I should have looked at them a little closer before I purchased them. What I did not like about the cards was that they have the Spanish words on the front of the cards along with the pictures. With normal flash cards, you can show the child the front, and they tell you the "answer" which you can see on the back. You can't do that with these cards because the "answer" is right on the front under the picture (and also on the back too). They may be good for older children that are trying to learn the actual spelling of Spanish words, but they are not good for younger children just trying to learn the Spanish names of objects. These cards also don't have the Spanish pronunciation for the words on them which would be very helpful.
